How we research and compare
- Product data over guesses. When we cite usage numbers, they come from our own production systems as anonymized aggregates. We never read private conversations — we count events and timestamps, and we drop any statistic with a sample under 100.
- Competitor claims come from public sources. Pricing, feature lists, and privacy practices of other apps are taken from their official sites, documentation, and policies at the time of writing, and we link to those sources where we make specific claims.
